AIRCRAFT
Our powerful, high-performance Eurocopter AS350 B3 2B1 is designed to carry out the most demanding missions in the most extreme weather and geographical conditions. Its exceptional lifting capability, extended range, and fast cruise speed makes the AS350 B3 2B1 the leader in its class and the state of the art option to meet the demands of motion picture aviation and aerial cinematography. GIMBALS
We use SHOTOVER high-performance camera systems for all of our production shoots. These gyro-stabilized platforms offer an unprecedented level of stability and versatility for shooting with the most advanced cameras and lenses. With unparalleled steadiness, advanced augmented reality and mapping accuracy, as well as unmatched direct look-down capabilities, we can provide you with a wide range of dynamic angles for your production. From our F1 system to our HAMMERHEAD capabilities to deliver up to 12k resolution, we got everything you need!

CAMERAS
We work with all the industry standards from RED, Canon, Arri, and Sony to cover all of your needs. Looking for 8k resolution? We have the RED Helium for that. Need a low light monster? We’ll use our Sony Venice. Demand high dynamic range? No, problem, our RED Monstro has 17+ stops.

Gotham Films provides a truly turn key solution for aerial production. With our helicopters, SAG Film Pilots, aerial DP’s, Shotover F1 and K1 gimbal systems, “state of the art” cameras and lenses, as well as an FAA Approved Motion Picture and TV Operations Manual, the options at Gotham are unmatched. Our equipment has been carefully curated to provide a range of high quality options that are in-house and available for projects of any size in the New York area as well as nationwide and globally.

FACILITY
Gotham Films is located within the Linden Airport, in Linden NJ. We are a six minute flight from lower Manhattan, and a 15 minute drive south of Newark (EWR) Airport.
We have a full camera prep area, secured storage, conference room space and lounge. With two aircraft hangars and two production spaces, Gotham’s facility spans to 4,500 square feet. Our offices are equipped with video, break-in and Central Station fire alarm systems to ensure client equipment is protected.
For productions, we can operate 24/7 with aircraft access, ramp access and fuel.
